Caduceus 'le Cortigiane Oneste' Barbera, Merlot 2017 (750 ml)

This vintage of ONESTE features fruit from the Eliphante and Marzo blocks, located in Yavapai Co., AZ. 90% Barbera / 10% Merlot. Aged in French cask and puncheon for 18 months.

Barbera dominant with a bit of Merlot from the Marzo and Eliphante blocks in Cornville, AZ. Aromatic Bright Fruit with an Old World palate. This wine has been a chefs favorite. 3350-3500 ft. elevation.

In early 2012, just outside of Cornville, AZ, we planted 30 acres on what we refer to as the Eliphante Block. Here we have mostly Italian clones, with a few Spanish and French as well.
